Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev won his initial championship for 882 days with success over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
The Russian, a former top-ranked player, has experienced a challenging period, achieving just a single victory at the big events and suffering a meltdown at the New York tournament.
The player's varied form on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his service game in especial - caused him dropping out of the top ten and eventually splitting with long-time coach Gilles Cervara.
Now working with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has gradually advanced in the recent weeks - climaxing in a closely contested competitive victory over challenger Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's first title since the Rome competition and maiden on a hardcourt from spring of 2023.
The win also signifies he has achieved 21 victories at 21 different tournaments.
"For the first time I'm at a event with my two daughters together, so to secure a championship is especially meaningful," said ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my child her name, because the maiden victory I got when my child her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had failed in his previous six championship matches, including in the German tournament previously this season.
The player's defensive play style and recurring reactions on the tennis court had led commentators to doubt if his ability to compete at the highest level was over.
But the athlete has made changes in the last few weeks, making an effort to advance forward and perform assertively, supported by an better serving game.
Medvedev recovered from a disadvantage in the opening set against the challenging Moutet, winning four of the final five games to go ahead.
The pair traded break points in the second set before Moutet, bidding for his initial tour title, took control to force a final set.
Moutet rescued 4 initial break points in a close deciding set before Medvedev secured a break to fifteen to secure the win.
Appropriately, the winner clinched the title with a rally at the net, with Moutet failing to handle a volley after a lengthy match.
